badseed1980Had a date last night, first one with a non-boyfriend in a long time. It was fun! We went to the Sunset, at my suggestion, and like everyone else I've introduced to that place, he loved it. :) Ya can't go wrong with the Sunset if you bring someone who likes beer! He was impressed by my knowledge on the subject, too. I had to preen a bit; most of my friends know MUCH more about beer than me, since many are brewers. I'm not usually the more knowledgeable one.
We chatted a lot and hugged before we went home. He seems nice. I will see him again. Oh, and he's a peroxide blond Leo. Pity his hair is long and not spiky!
Anyway, it was fun. Made me feel a bit better about myself than I have been recently. Attention always does. :) It's nice to feel appreciated, and it's nice to make new friends.
Tonight I have a coven class. I have to do some more writing in my journal for that! Ack! I've got a bit done, anyway. I really like those guys. They invited me to an upcoming circle. I have been invited to join the Outer Court of another coven, too. Oy vey, why am I so cautious about making a decision? I guess it's a good thing. I will wait until at least after Samhain, I think. Samhain will be interesting. I'm just really sad that I can't spend it with Morgan. :( Maybe we can manage something during the day.
