Weekend shit
Sep. 22nd, 2003 08:39 amI had an...interesting weekend.
Friday night was good and stress-free. Poker night. I lost $1.60. Not bad for one who plays as badly as I do.
Saturday was hell. Pure hell. Tripped over the psycho cat and put a hole in my kitchen wall. Ran around like a chicken with its head cut off. Finally got to the installation at Constellation Lodge on time. Good. That went just fine, although I started getting stomach pains for no obvious reason by the end of dinner.
Then was the "after-party" at Morgan and Mike's place. Hmm. Morgan is never drinking that much again. He dropped me in the kitchen and my back STILL hurts. (Yes the backrub helped, but only temporarily). Then he kind of did the same thing but more metaphorically speaking later on. That still hurts too. (Again, the backrub helped temporarily). Trying not to dwell. I know he loves me. That's a good thing.
Sunday's ritual was wonderful. Had lots of fun with the great people in Starsong. I still don't know which coven I will choose, or which will choose me, however you see it.
I guess all in all, it *was* a good weekend, but I still feel a little awful. Got that U2 line running through my mind:
"They say the sun is sometimes eclipsed by the moon.
You know I don't see you when she walks in the room."
