Human Jean Gnome Project
Nov. 17th, 2004 11:07 amDo you know where your pants are?
Whether or not you do, I have two nice pairs of Gap Boot Cut Stretch jeans, dark blue, in a size 12, regular length. I can no longer wear them. If there is anyone who would like said jeans, give me a shout out. If more than one person wants them, one pair will go to each of the first two people to ask for them. If only one person wants them, that person gets both. If no one wants them, they go to a thrift shop or something.
HEY! This plus
witchyspyce's post gives me an idea.
I'm sure all of us have some things that are quite nice, but which we don't want to have anymore, but which someone else we know would appreciate. How would people like to do a no-buy gift swap for Christmas? We can donate stuff we don't want to a central pile, and people can walk away with what they want. It can be little stuff or big stuff, and we can bring as much as we want. This way everyone can get something (or a few things) new to THEM, but no one spends money. I'm thinking clothes, jewelry, yarn, CDs, books, plants, and anything else people can think of that is in gift-worthy condition.
If anyone else likes that idea, let me know.
