Weekend in review

Friday night. dee_cee's birthday party. Yay! It was a blast hanging out with the gang again...I hadn't seen many of them in months. And the greatest thing happened: I got to hear deadwinter say ( those magical words: )

Woo-hoo!!! And erik_j_meyer, remind me to give you money for drinks from Club Cafe next time I see you. I was outside ministering to the inebriated when the bill was settled.

Saturday. Slow and slightly hung-over (I'm a lightweight now) start to the day. Met tigira and went to Salem in the afternoon. Yay, shopping! She and meadmaker were kind enough to invite me to dinner. They fed me masturbating cow (Beef Stroganoff). Yum. I got to pose for meadmaker while he tested out a digital camera. That was fun. I like modeling! pierceheart, you will get to see some varyingly cute, silly, and artsy pictures soon! In fact, I may well have some new LJ-icons out of that shoot. :) I also long-term borrowed a book on low-fat vegetarian cooking from meadmaker, since no one in that house eats like that anymore and I often do. Mmm. Cooking. Soon.

Sunday. Oh boy, was I a lazy bastard! I leafed through the aforementioned cookbook, drank coffee, showered, and chatted with the boy online and on the phone. Cooked nummy chickpeas for dinner. Chatted with my friend Lady Diamond, who I hadn't talked to in months. It still weirds us both out that SHE got married and I'M in a poly relationship. Huh. Go figure. It was good to catch up with her. I got to bed at a decent hour. I dreamed at some point that I woke up and saw that the clock said 9:30. I started panicking, but then woke up for real and saw that it actually said 5:49. I fell asleep with relief for 11 minutes, and then got up to face the day.
