Ahhh, nice weekend!
Friday night I had a lovely quiet evening in with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
pierceheart at his place. He cooked for me, and we watched one of the Babylon 5 movies. The next morning, we started the day off with breakfast at the Deluxe Town Diner in Watertown, and I had some truly yummy Greek sausage. Note to self: fennel and orange zest are AWESOME with lamb. Mmm.
That night I went out withgeoogo, cutieyum, cloakedrose, and a couple people who I don't think are on LJ. We had to wait over an hour and a half to get a table at Assaggio, but it was worth the wait. Then the two non-LJ people left, and the rest of us went back to cloakedrose's place, where he entertained us on the piano a bit, and then gave me a back-, neck-, and shoulder-rub that left me rather melty. Of course, that could have been partly because it was after midnight and I was half-asleep...
Sunday waserik_j_meyer's birthday barbecue and book swap. I got rid of some books I no longer wanted, and picked up a few that look pretty cool. I managed to be fairly restrained about what I took, though, and I think I ended up making some space on my shelves. A bit. :) A good time was had by all, as far as I could tell.
My supervisor is out all this week, so I'm sorta holding down the fort here. That's fine. I have a few things to keep me busy, but not so busy that I don't have a lot of time to mess around online. :P I will have to do my best today to just eat the Weight Watchers meal I have in the freezer here at work instead of going out for something more fattening. I've been doing too much of that lately. Goddamn PMS. Grr. You make me bitchy AND bingey! I hate you! I'll have to think of something yummy to make for dinner so I will be sure to have at least one awesome meal today. Hmm. Maybe I should think of something for the boy to grill. He enjoys that. :) Men and grills are an excellent combination. I just have to worry about marinades or rubs and side dishes.
