In which Our Heroine gets a chance to breathe--finally!

Whew! Today has been amazingly busy. I've had a chance to post about two comments to journal entries today, and that's about it. Granted, I DID take my hour lunch break, because I realized I could do so and still get all my work done today. But it's been wall-to-wall frantic work other than that.

Anyway, one reason I've had to work so hard was because we had an hour of the morning taken up by a meeting dealing with fiddly little data entry processes. Oy. At the end of it, however, we had a little raffle. They put all the names of people we'd evaluated from our main working list-with the names of the people who evaluated them--into a hat. Then they picked out five. So, the more people you evaluated, the better your chances of winning. I beat the odds and won a $5 Starbucks card and a pair of Landmark Theatres movie passes (Kendall Square Cinema is one of those). Sweet.

My right index finger still hurts on the thumb side from working with the cane last night in dance class. Ow.

I'm ready to go home now. I'm hungry and I don't have anything to cook for dinner at pierceheart's place tonight, but we'll figure it out. Meh.
