Ooook. Last night was lots of fun. M came over, I made yummy pizzas and salad, and we drank wine (and gin for me) and watched The Indian Runner. DAMN good movie. Had a lot to say. I think the only reason there were no Oscars handed out for that one is that it was Sean Penn's directing debut. During the movie, Lucy kept trying to get up on the living room windowsill to attack some cat outside through the glass and the screen. I had to shut her out.
I ended up falling asleep at around 1am with Lucy in my room, but was rudely awakened at 6 when she tried to attack either that cat or another one through my BEDROOM window, hissing, yowling, and scrabbling at the glass. She didn't want to get down, and only did when she knocked my fan off the windowsill and fell with it. I shoved her out the door and shut it behind her. Bugger off, kitty. Slept soundly until 10am. That, I needed. Ahhhh.
So now I'm awake and want my coffee. I also need to somehow make this day worthwhile. I miss having fun stuff to do on weekends with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
pierceheart, but spending some of this one in cleaning and running errands will be OK. dahveed76 is coming up to visit next weekend, and I can go out and have fun then!
