The carbon footprint of virtual people

I came across this interesting article about the energy consumption of avatars in Second Life. It was food for thought.

I'm not on SL. Or MySpace. I get all my online interaction needs filled by LJ, PolyMatchMaker forums, and e-mail, pretty much. I'd rather increase real life socializing than online.

Weekend

Poor dahveed76 is sick, and can't come visit this weekend. :( At least we were able to reschedule for a couple weeks from now.

Anyway, this leaves me with an open weekend, pretty much. I know there is a party tomorrow night, though I have no costume - SAD. I could look for one. But transportation is an issue with parties there... I'll talk it over with the hostess and find out what the story is.
