Just another manic Monday
Dec. 17th, 2007 08:36 amGood morning! I must be really annoying to some people, as a morning person who tends to like Mondays. :)
I haven't been updating much on what I've been doing with my life lately. Perhaps it's time for a recap.
* Monday last week: did laundry, nothing exciting.
* Tuesday: went to dance class, but only the teacher and I had shown up by quarter past seven, so we agreed to call the class cancelled and I went home.
* Wednesday: had a nice date that included yummy homemade pizza and a talk that went quite surprisingly well.

pierceheart succumbed to it and stayed in a hotel overnight. I ate my Mexican steak and sweet potatoes alone, alas. And I shoveled a couple times.
* Friday: went shopping sopierceheart could get my folks their gifts. Had Thai for dinner at the Similans. I got a similar dish to the one I ordered at Tamarind House, but wasn't as impressed with it. Tried Thai Lychee wine, which was interesting.
* Saturday: went down to RI on the train. We exchanged gifts with my parents. They liked theirs a lot, from both of us.pierceheart liked his Bunnahabhain. I liked my check and silly stocking stuffers, including the not-so-silly bottle of gourmet olive oil. Mmm. That night, we had a party for the neighborhood. There was a ton of good food. I gave my sister her gift (makeup which she loved) and she gave me mine (a twinset which was nice enough, but which looked like crap on me as nearly all twinsets do).
* Sunday: we stuck around the parental abode and watched movies. It was a lazy day. I'd slept like utter crap Saturday night and had zero energy. We came home in the evening and managed to summon the energy to defrost leftover gumbo and eat that with a salad. Then a shower and bed, none too soon. I am really behind on sleep. As usual, I have NO problems falling asleep at night, but staying asleep is another matter. Meh.
This morning,pierceheart was short on hot breakfast food, so I had cereal. I kind of wanted something warm, though, and when I got to work, there were warm cinnamon rolls in the kitchen. Om nom nom! Tonight, I have my last dance class of the semester. Then I'm going home and crashing. I need sleep. *yawn*
