Sick day

I'm staying home today. I want to make sure this cold doesn't just keep hanging on for ages. I sometimes wish I were one of those people who can just sleep until they're better. I can't do that. At least I have promised myself that the only thing I will leave the house for today is to do laundry. I don't WANT to do laundry, but it's becoming a necessity, and there isn't really other time for it. I'll bundle up very warm, take my time getting there, and just sit in the laundromat and knit until the laundry's done. Then I'll come home and chill some more.

I did a little too much running around yesterday, looking for dinner ingredients. I probably shouldn't have done that, though it DID mean that I was able to make a very tasty bulgogi entirely from scratch as a surprise for pierceheart!

Not looking forward to laundry. I'll wait a couple hours or so to give it a chance to warm up at least a little bit. It's brutal out there.

I am utterly and completely knackered. No f'ing way I'm going to make it to work tomorrow. I can't stop coughing, and now I'm stuffed up, too. Crap. Better be better by Wednesday.
