A coworker packing up her stuff found a nalgene water bottle in her office from a previous occupant and offered it to me. It holds 20 oz., the same as the Aquafina bottle I'd been using before, but without all that nasty plastic leaching trouble. Sweet! Free stuff makes me happy.

Breakfast was free this morning, too. Resource Development has a brunch in the VP's conference room while Commencement is going on, so I had (bad me) a little quiche and half a bagel with lox. Nom nom. And I'm eating lunch out with my manager and coworker today. Ok, I've dieted all week. I can have a bad day. Dinner tonight is likely to be very, very light, though.

I don't know if I'm going to be going out with the broker tonight on a "whirlwind tour" to briefly look at a bunch of properties, or not. I e-mailed her to ask. I'm just dying to find out the situation with our mortgage pre-approval application as soon as possible. I'm sort of on tenterhooks here. But that gives me an excuse to look up the origin of the phrase "on tenterhooks."

Edit: Looks like something's come up with the broker, so no home ogling today. Oh well. I'll do some cleaning and knitting, and work on some homework. It's all good!

Second night in a row...

Ya know, I don't like having this all that often, but once in a while, it doesn't suck.

Yeah, diet was bad today, but I'm actually not beating myself up over it. I was planning for this. I was good all week and will be good all weekend. No problem.

I really need this for nights like tonight!
