Oct. 27th, 2008 04:03 pmTomorrow, I'm going to a professional development class on creating presentations. I figure it'll be good to do that since I'll be doing a presentation at a convention in the spring. It's awesome because it lasts from 9am to 4pm, and is in a location that's slightly closer to my home than my office is. The upshot of this is that I will be leaving the house 20 minutes later than usual, and returning home half an hour earlier. Nice!
Tonight, I have dance class. I need to kill some time before it, and include dinner in there, but I don't know what I want to eat. It's too early for dinner now, though, so I need to kill time before dinner. Bookstore? Bookstore. *nods*
I often listen to belly dance music outside of class. This is especially true on class nights, to get me into the mood for class. I recently commented on someone's LJ that my number one "makes me smile every time I hear it" song is "Ya Mustapha". If you are into belly dance and haven't heard it, you really need to. It's silly and upbeat and fun. It's in mangled Franco-Italo-Arabic, and the first couple of lines translate to, "Darling, I love you. Darling, I adore you, like tomato sauce." So silly. It always makes me grin. Also, it is quite a classic in the belly dance world.
