Good things
Jul. 9th, 2009 09:52 am1. My weight's holding steady, according to the scale this morning.
2. I get Binky back from the mechanic today.
3. This brief is turning out to be fairly easy, in spite of the glut of info on some subjects and the paucity of info on others.
4. I can use the word "paucity" in a sentence.
5. I had yummy oatmeal for breakfast. Gee, what else is new?
6. My Giant Salad of Doom last night, with veggies and goat cheese from the Davis Square farmers' market, was delicious!
7. I see BLUE in that sky!
8. Flea this weekend! Glee! I should go even if I don't have anyone to hang out with there for most of the time. (No offense,![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
miss_lisa_ma, but I think we might both want some privacy for our shopping. :P Also, dalious will have her legions of adoring fans to placate, and I will certainly see her around, but she will be busy.) Man, this really makes me miss my men!
9. OMGOMGOMG! I can't believe I didn't mention this until #9! The first of my new bras came in! Oddly, it's the last one ordered: the replacement for the lost one. I do find it amusing that the little charm thingy I did to get the bra back to me seems to have worked in this way: I didn't get it back, but the replacement was the first bra to arrive. Heh. I spent lots of time last night trying it on with stuff. It pushes me forward more, so things fit differently. Some things fit better, some not so much (armholes on short-sleeved and sleeveless shirts can be a problem). It's not a deep enough plunge for some of my V-necks, but for this button-front blouse I have on now, it's fab. So's the cute thong I got to match it at H&M. :D Also, it does not dig into my rib like my old one did because it was so big and slipped down on me.
