1. Returned sub-par bra to Intimacy. Tried on pretty much everything in my size that comes in nude, looking for a replacement. Found one where the cup fit perfect in a 34F, but 1) they didn't have it in nude in the store, and 2) it would need to get altered down to a 32 in the band. Well, apparently, NO store in the chain currently has it in nude. Grr. I'm even hard to shop for at the store for hard-to-shop-for people! And yet, I have friends who are...36J? Gotta be worse. Yeah. I have to look around online and see if I see anything that looks particularly good, in a place with a good return policy. If I do, I'll buy and try. If not, I'll just wait and see when Intimacy gets in a new shipment, which may take several weeks. They told me they'd "keep an eye out" for me. I think they actually will, which is nice. Good, good service there.

2. Just made a truly nice bento for tomorrow. a) Tofu Shirataki noodles with scallions and a peanut/sesame sauce. Hungry Girl recipe, minus the added sweetener and plus a few drops of fish sauce, some crushed red pepper, some ginger, and some cilantro. b) Shrimp with Penzey's satay seasoning. c) Steamed broccoli and red pepper. Yum! I am going to do a mini-whole wheat bagel with almond butter and low-sugar strawberry jam for breakfast tomorrow. We'll see how that goes. I love almond butter. It won't take half as long to eat as my oatmeal and yogurt, though, so I don't know if it will satisfy me as much, even if it fills me up as much. Even if it doesn't, I can have the bagels and jam, or the almond butter with apples, as a snack in future.

3. Sadly, girly cocktail night has been postponed due to exhaustion on the part of [livejournal.com profile] vervain13, poor guy. I am instead drinking white wine while watching House. Or, really, drinking white wine while making bento, posting to LJ, and watching House.

4. I gave the kitchen counters a better-than-usual wipe, gave the stove a good wipedown, and swept and mopped the kitchen floor today. I also removed about a kitten's worth of cat hair from the dining room rug, but it still needs vacuuming.

5. Although bra-shopping was ultimately fruitless, as was shoe-shopping (went to Downtown Crossing and hit every store where one can get nice shoes cheap-ish), I did find a pretty wear-to-work dress. It needs a hook or something put into the v-neck to hold it closed near the bottom, so my bra doesn't show, but that won't affect the overall look or fit of the dress, so that's ok. It was only $20, and it's brown and green and cute!

You know, I'm getting close to that exhaustion thing, myself. :)
