On this day

Hey guys, did you know I managed to get lucky before my parents even met? Yep. On this day, several years before I was born, before my parents got married, before they were even in-laws¹, I totally got lucky. Why? Well, that's when pierceheart was born. Good thing for me, huh? Happy birthday, my love! I wish you didn't have to work, but I will be thinking of you. :) I LOVE YOU!

How about that?

Looks like the walk to or from Sullivan, from or to my place, is 1.4 miles, not a mile as I previously thought. No wonder it always takes me longer than I think it should to walk it.

Yesterday and today, I walked from my place to Sullivan to catch in the morning instead of taking another bus there. I had to leave a little earlier, but it was nice. Today, I took at 2.8 mile walk on my break. I'm going to walk to the Garment District after work to idle away a little time before I go to meet some friends for drinks and dinner. That'll be another 1.4 miles total, or just about. Then another 1.4 on my way home from Sullivan, quite possibly. That would be 7 miles of walking in one day, which wouldn't suck. :) Of course, if I'm feeling lazy, I might catch the orange line to Wellington, which is a shorter walk, or I might get the bus from Sullivan.
