Oh hi there, Winter!

My cabled merino hat (Malabrigo, thankyouverymuch) says it's good to see you again, and my thrummed alpaca-merino-silk mittens say it's nice to meet you. And, um, I had to take those mittens off on my walk to the bus station because my hands were sweating. Yeah. They work.

pierceheart and I picked out a Yule tree yesterday, and got it set up. I'll decorate it tonight. Giving it a day to warm up and relax its branches is good. I took the little branches we clipped off the bottom and put them in a vase with water on the dining room table. Yay for free seasonal centerpieces! I also got all my laundry done on Saturday (and let me tell you, that was a significant amount), so I feel like I had a productive weekend.

Now to have a productive workday!
