Wow, I haven't had a vacation like this in a while!

Wednesday night I went right to the parents' place after work. My mom was all goofy and giddy because us girls were home, and my dad let me try some of his latest Scotch purchase. Bruichladdich (sp?). Mmmmmmmm. Yum! I made cranberry sauce and did a Mad Lib with Lisa, then crashed after sleeping half an hour on the couch.

Thursday was the big family feast. I'm SO glad I got to introduce my man to the family. He didn't run screaming: I was impressed. :) They like him a lot too. Yay! Food was good. We snuck out early and had a long drive to Connecticut to be with his family. I really like his parents. They're as weird as mine, in a different direction, and very nice and welcoming. The drive back to Dedham was a long one. We crashed pretty hard and slept in a little.

Friday we had a pretty mediocre Irish breakfast, and then Morgan dropped me off at my place while he packed. He picked me up early in the evening, and we headed out to Northampton to go to East Heaven Hot Tubs. Oh...my...GODS. What a place. We had a private room outside, where a light rain was falling. We showered off in the little shower stall there, and then jumped naked into the hot foamy water. Mmmmm. I don't think anything in the world is more relaxing than having your feet rubbed while you float in water that feels like hot champagne. Yummy. After that was over, we went to Morgan's cousin's rehearsal dinner for his wedding. Good food and wine, and it was all FREE! :) Yay. We were pretty tired after that, so we rented a hotel room for the night.

Saturday morning we drove back and got ready for Thanksgiving II. Morgan made rutabagas! I love that word. We had a great time at

tisana's potluck. I somehow managed to get about 5 backrubs without even asking. Thank you ever so much, Mark, Pea, and Morgan!!! When the foodquake was over, it was pretty dang late. Crashed at Morgan's again. We spent today snuggling in the morning and then watching Labyrinth at my place. When Morgan left I turned my attention to cleaning my place a bit and working on some stuff I keep meaning to do. I ended up ordering Chinese because I need to go grocery shopping and have nothing to cook. Hope the food gets here soon. Mmm...General Gau's. :)
Time to sit and chill, I think, and maybe do some stretching. My muscles need it. Night, all!
