Flowers

Dear florist:

My boyfriend was sweet enough to order me flowers on Valentine's Day. I've had a really fucking ROTTEN week for the most part, what with being sick and having my apartment flood and all that. I was looking forward to picking those flowers up yesterday. They would have helped brighten my day. You never delivered them.

When my boyfriend called you to complain, you assured him that you would deliver them to my office today. He asked you to deliver them by 3pm, since that's when I'm leaving. You said you would be sure to do so. Well, guess what? STILL NO FUCKING FLOWERS.

Fuck you, florist. It's a goddamn good thing you're refunding him his money. This is unbelievable.

and may i suggest? once you have that money back?? if your darlin paid on credit card.. complain to the CC company.

Oh, no worries about that. The company itself isn't bad, as far as we can tell. The local distributor they used, however...

We will make sure to request that they don't use them again. They've canceled the order with that distributor and they're having another one deliver to my home today.

Bloomers, or something like that. The boy will remember. He used them through USAA, yeah, but I wouldn't use them directly.

Hey, when I have enough energy to slap people around, things will be looking up. :)

They came yesterday. A bouquet probably worth about half what the boy originally spent, but since his money was refunded, not much we can say.
