badseed19801. What is your favorite vegetable? (and don't say 'I love all vegetables'. I don't believe you...)
Winter squashes. But I REALLY REALLY LIKE all vegetables except raw tomatoes. Those, I'm learning to like.
2. Do you sleep on your stomach, like a little cherub, on your back, like a corpse, or on your side like a fetus?
Er, like a fetal cherub? Sort of halfway on my stomach, halfway on my side. Arms folded and under my pillow.
3. What do you like better: sunrises or sunsets?
I love both, but seeing a sunrise is a rarer treat. Usually, I'm either asleep or behind closed blinds when it happens.
4. What was your most favorite candy as a child? What is it now?
Then, Baby Ruth bars. Now, fine chocolate truffles.
5. How do you take your coffee? Don't like coffee?...you're WEIRD.
Splenda and nonfat creamer.
6. Did you ever believe in hell? Do you still?
No, I don't think I ever really did believe in hell. It was just another myth to me.
7. What is your favorite article of clothing...the thing you wish you could wear all the time?
It really depends on my mood, but I love my navy blue silk skirt with the sequin and bead waistband. Comfy AND gorgeous. I rarely get to wear it.
8. Do you have a skin care regimen? Do tell! How consistent are you?
I wash my face daily with an exfoliating cleanser at night, and moisturize with a sunscreen-containing moisturizer. In the morning, I wipe my face with witch hazel (a low-alcohol one) and moisturize again. Once a week, I use the Ole Henriksen Micro-Mini Peel System. About once a week (alternating with the peel), I'll use a mud mask.
9. If you could wave a magic wand and have anything you want for dinner tonight...calories be damned, what
It has to be "tonight" rather than "ever" because I crave different things at different times. Tonight, I want fish cooked with sage and orange zest and squash seeds, and some roasted carnival squash, and...I'm probably going to make bulgur or mashed potatoes, but I'd love risotto.
10. In your view, who is the greatest singer who has ever lived? Please justify your response.
I really don't know, since my favorite singers aren't always the ones with the most heavenly voices. I feel like I should be picking someone with a pure, sweet operatic soprano or something, but...that doesn't usually do it for me. Singers whose voices I think must be gorgeous in anyone's ears: Maddy Prior and Lisa Gerrard for chicks, and Tommy Fleming and Stan Rogers for the men. Though Stan Rogers might not sound good to someone who's annoyed by his accent. I like it.
