Cat needs a home. Not mine! She has one.
Jun. 22nd, 2009 10:11 amA co-worker of mine sent around an e-mail for a friend of hers, who knows someone who's going into a nursing home and needs to find a new home for her cat. The cat is a nine-year-old spayed female with long grey hair. She's an indoor cat, described as playful and affectionate. A home with adults or older children is preferred. The cat has no experience with dogs. She's up to date on her medical stuff, and no chronic medical conditions were mentioned. If anyone's interested, let me know and I'll hook you up with my co-worker.

Date: 2009-06-22 04:33 pm (UTC)if i didn't have Pharaoh i'd consider her. i like older cats, particularly ones with this sort of background. i'm sad that cats are lovely companions for so long, then are abandoned (not by choice, really) when their owner is too old to keep them, for whatever reason. i feel like such older cats have earned a safe cozy spot to be, and it bothers me that they aren't allowed to have it.
