Tops that look like this:

They make everyone look worse than they could, and on me, well, they might as well be maternity tops. GAH.

Oh, and skirts that look like this:

Just stupid, and hideously unflattering.

Why are they wearing sacks as skirts? *boggle*

Right on! Although I did appreciate the first when I was pregnant - I could just wear regular clothes rather than maternity clothes for the first six months. That said, no one ever gave up their seat for me on the T - because every woman looks pregnant in those shirts.

I'm with you on the skirts.

I do have a shirt that shape which I love, but I will admit that I only wear it with fairly tight jeans to avoid looking pregnant. For the same reason it makes people look pregnant it is also good for those days when I have tummy anxiety and just don't want to deal.

One nice thing about the first top is that they are far cheaper than actual maternity clothes. :)

I like Uggs. They're actually quite practical. My waterproof ones are awesome in the Boston winter!

I'm with you on Empire waists. They're never flattering.

Ugh, I TOTALLY agree. Those and the ghetto-fabulous baggy pants.

I'm with y'all! Tops that show no shape. Also, jeggings.

I don't like Empire dresses, although as tops they can be somewhat attractive, especially if the fabric is light--they can move most alluringly.

On the other hand, those bags-masquerading-as-skirts are flat-out hideous. If I see someone wearing one, I assume she's trying to look unattractive for some mysterious reason. Blort.

I am SO with you!

I hate the entire high-waisted concept. At it's very best you get a decent Empire dress, but 99% of it as you say just serves to make the woman wearing it look pregnant.

I'm not as hateful toward the sack skirts, but I can see how they'd not be flattering if you didn't have very skinny long legs.
