okay, not sure how you did one set for YOUR comments, and another for your friends'.

Tweakage must occur on night shift, methinks . . .

Ok, you go to manage--customize--change individual settings--edit customizations--text. There should be four fields there. The first two pertain to your own journal. The other two pertain to your friends page and work in the same way.
