Tonight

Are some people still planning on dressing in garb tonight? I feel guilty, but I won't be. My garb is 1) in the bottom of an enormous suitcase that takes about 10 minutes to get off my closet shelf and 15 to put back in. 2) Badly wrinkled and in need of ironing. 3) Too time-consuming, as I would have to find time to iron it which I don't have, and either a) pack it and carry it to work with me and change in a public bathroom downtown and walking to the Manor dressed up like that or b) dash home on the T, change at home, dash back on the T as fast as I could get there, and still end up late more than likely.

So no garb. Jeans and a blouse. I know, I'm no fun. :P

Wait 'til KRF starts. Or the Maryland RenFest. :)

No cleavage??? Aw, the guys will be so disappointed...And hey, I'd think you'd be doing a public service walking around in public like that--most men would appreciate it, even if their women wouldn't. ;)

Yeah, I had to get mine out of storage and do emergency laundry for all the wrinkles and cat hair. S'okay, not all will be in garb.

Ok. Y'all know how much I hate being the only one under-, over- or badly-dressed.

Actually, I have a little time after work...maybe I'll go shopping and find something at least a little cuter to change into. It was torture passing up an occasion to get dressed up in the first place. :)

Oh, and I'm SURE there will be more than enough cleavage to go around at this event anyway! :P

I've never been, but yes it does! It's a dinner-and-show thing with a medieval theme, even for the food. You don't use forks, either.

Well, I can't find my garb stuff, but I'm wearing a corset-y like top I grabbed at Torrid and a long skirt. As I asked my sweetie last night if it looked OK, I got "Well, you do know garb wouldn't have zippers, right?"

So, I may not be accurate, but by gum there will be cleavage!

I wish I were one of those people who fits into stuff really easily so I could get some funky corset top from a regular store. But actually, I have to say, there wouldn't be as much cleavage to show if that were the case.

But yes, I'm going to go in garb ... at least as much as it will fit at this point. The bodice comes nowhere NEAR to closing in the front, but I don't care. It's fine at the top end, just the bottom end that's wide open!!

And thanks to baby, I have more cleavage than I know what to do with right now ...

Oh, my garb fits fine.

I don't have it with me. I wish I could quickly and easily find something ELSE cute and sexy to wear, but I can't. I wish to hell I'd had time to get my garb ready, and that I could have gotten a ride there so I wouldn't have to take the T and walk for 10 minutes in it, sweating and getting weird looks.

Actually, I still haven't heard back from mizdarkgirl about a ride home...
