So I got up this morning, a little earlier than I expected but well rested. I had started on my first cuppa, and was pissed that I didn't have enough creamer for a second. Then
tigira called me and asks if I want to go out for bagels with her and
meadmaker. Oh, ok! I threw on clothes (including some flip-flops which turned into squish-squeaks in the rain), and they picked me up shortly after.
After bagely goodness, we stuck around in Brookline for a fun and giggle-filled shopping trip. I bought some postcards to send to
pierceheart, and some other fun distractions. Then I walked all the way from Coolidge Corner to the Shaw's on Comm Ave to buy cat litter and creamer. Bright idea. I was soaked, and my bag o' goodies was wet as well, threatening to split open and disgorge its scandalous contents onto the sidewalk. It held together until I could get it into a plastic grocery bag, though. I got home at last, and am now about to get into the shower. Nice warm shower. Mmm. Then it's time to get dressed and maybe even do the nails. A little cleaning first, perhaps. Yeah, better put some crap in my room away before the wet nails become an excuse not to do so. THEN, this evening, it's off to Ginza in Brookline for some yummy sushi with Geoff. No tempura for me. Last two times I ate tempura, I regretted it. The very thought of it makes me nauseous. Ugh. I'll stick to the raw fish, thanks.
Ok, shower time. Here I go. Splish splash, dahling.

Date: 2004-07-05 11:38 am (UTC)I miss the things one does to get ready for a date.
As I have said a few times, we need to date when I get home.
Where we both do what we can to make ourselves special for a special evening or day, doing something other than movie and such.
So, what, two light dates a week or so, and two big ones per month?
each of us doing planning for half the times?
