Rug burn on my knees again
Jul. 12th, 2004 11:25 amNo, not like that. This is because I had to kneel on the floor to sort papers into a stack at work, and because I happen to be wearing my short skirt today. Ouch. Damn it. And I have a date tonight! A first date, too. Oy vey. I put some of Burt's Bees' Res-Q Ointment on them. Hopefully the Great Green Goo will make it fade a bit by this evening. Otherwise I'm quite sure this guy will tease me mercilessly about it. :)
Speaking of this evening, has anyone been to Buddha's Delight in Brookline? That's where I'm going tonight. Never been before. Does anyone know what's good there?
Oh, and this weekend was lovely. More later. :)

Date: 2004-07-12 09:19 am (UTC)I'm usually a little wary of veggie or vegan products that try to taste like real meat, and stick to the honest vegetables. But if they do it well, I may give some of it a try!

Date: 2004-07-12 10:42 am (UTC)Yeah, I can see how that would be an irresistable tease target!
Consider pants or opaque tights, if your burns can stand them.
Or spend the time figuring out how to handle the teasing.
And here's hoping the goo hasn't dyed your knees green :-)
