Another turn of the wheel, another celebration to share with some of my favourite people. :)

Well, it was a great weekend. Friday night started with a viewing of the uber-silly UHF at pir's place. "Badgers? We don't need no stinkin' badgers!" Oy vey. ManRay was not as good as it usually is. I really do prefer the more specifically goth and fetish nights to Ooze. But it was ok. We ran into ringer, which surprised me quite a bit. Wasn't quite sure how to handle that. But it was good to see him, and we had a good laugh about it over e-mail today.

When the club got boring, we went to a party where we ran into tisana, deadwinter, and mizdarkgirl. Fancy that! It was fun in spite of obnoxious drunk boys. We didn't stay long, though. Good thing too--a hobble skirt, corset, and 5" heels (when you can't sit down properly) do NOT add up to long-term comfort. Eek. But getting petted made it quite a bit more bearable.

Saturday and Sunday were taken up by witchy stuff. Much good fun. Wicker Man. Beer. Oh, and ritual. Yah. Good times. :)

And that was a really, really impressive skirt. I can tell why Erik and Dale made such a big deal over it. Everyone around you appreciated it, if you didn't notice.
