Hmm. I think I promised to be "proactive to the point of being pushy" last night, in order to keep old patterns from recurring. I think I can do that. :)

Hmm. I dunno about that ballast part; the first place I think of is Austin, and that's more than out of my budget. I'm probably going to have to think in metaphorical rather than literal terms.
