LJ is really slow on my work computer for some reason. I try to post a comment, and the page will time-out on me when it tries to load. I have to keep trying until it loads successfully...at which time I find out that although the page timed out, the comment has posted several times. Shite. Sorry, bittercat.

If the post/new-journal-entry times out I usually go and re-read the comments to make sure it didn't post anyway.

Yeah, I'm gonna have to start doing that. It's a pain in the arse though because I have to reload every time.
