Weird dream

I had a really weird and awful dream last night.

I dreamed that I was with my best friend Raul, who was once the love of my life, and who still loves me. Four years after he left me and got married to someone else. I dreamed that I found out he'd been killing people, that he had been slowly going crazy for a while, and that he'd been picking up women and shooting them in the head. I was trying to get him to turn himself in and get help, but he wasn't having it. He told me that he was going to end up by killing himself. I didn't wake up crying, but I was crying in my dream. It was really awful and I don't know where it came from. I don't think anything like this could ever happen, since I know Raul would rather die than hit a woman, never mind shoot one. But it was disturbing nonetheless, even though I know there's nothing real about it.

Interesting ... another friend of mine, edg, reported having not one, but two nightmares about his son dying. He's not sure where his dream came from either, and woke up crying.

*hug* Dreams like this are disturbing.
It's likely that your unconscious is trying to process a lot of unconnected images that it's been battered with lately, and the easiest way to do this is to just jumble them together in one heap.

Just my guess.

Yeah, and since Raul's pretty much my soulmate, he gets stuck with being the butt of my psychic unease! :)

Things like this are why I hate dreaming. Stuff like this only disturbs, it's not always significant, just psychic hemhorraging...but you always end up wondering if it means something.

It was a bad dream, but the bad feeling didn't stay with me when I woke up. Just an odd feeling that got more odd feelings shoveled on top of it later. It did, however, remind me to get in touch with Raul, since I have to pester him to come up here sometime. :)
