badseed1980After laughing until I choked, I decided I had to post about this.
I just did a load of laundry, and was making my bed with clean sheets. Lucy, the Cute and Fuzzy Princess of Darkness, was doing her kitty duty by jumping up onto the bed at every given opportunity to get in my way. I told her to scram. She did. Then I lifted up the mattress to tuck the foot end of the sheet and blanket underneath it. I tucked and replaced the mattress. I heard Lucy meow from somewhere. I noticed the tuck wasn't straight, so I lifted the mattress and stuck my arm in again to fix it. I felt something furry, and heard another muffled meow. I lifted up the mattress higher, and Lucy darted out from between the mattress and the box spring, terrified.
Stupid bloody fuzzbucket!
Oh man, that just made my evening.

Date: 2004-12-02 06:58 am (UTC)Yup, sounds familiar...My family's cat, Laddie..when he was younger, would jump onto the bare matress that we were trying to put a sheet on.
Of course, this would happen numerous times as we kept putting Laddie on the ground and out of the way.
Then by this time we would be beyond frustrated. :)
Laddie would still be on the bed and we would finally tuck the sheet in.
Numerous meows would come from under the sheet, and we would let him out..
He learned the lesson after a few times..:) *laughs*
