A solo belly dance, among other things.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I didn't make any. I don't think I will this year either. I have other occasions for resolutions.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No one close, but someone I knew and respected: my former professor, David Brudnoy. It happened last night. Rest in peace, David. You deserve it.
5. What countries did you visit?
Just this one.
6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004?
My boyfriend back. A nice apartment.
7. What dates from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
September 15th, the last day I saw my boy.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Taking a certain step on my spiritual path.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Failure for a long time to communicate things that were hurting me in a way that didn't hurt anyone else.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Not serious.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Maybe my corset.

Stones '04 and the time before and after it. Losing weight.

c) richer or poorer? Monetarily, about the same. In life, richer.

Er...sex. Cleaning. Laughing.

Crying. But I've done a lot less of that lately.
20. How will you be spending Christmas?
With my family in Rhode Island.

Fell in love all over again with my boyfriend, and came to love other people in different, but important, ways.

None.
23. What was your favorite TV program?
Buffy. Duh. Also got hooked on Law and Order.
24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
One person I don't hate, but I feel contemptuous of that person, who at this time last year I considered a friend.
25. What was the best book you read?
I think the same one it is every year: The Lord of the Rings. :) Best book I read for the first time? Thomas the Rhymer.

Stan Rogers
27. What did you want and get?
Love. Affection. Attention. Rid of a lot of problems I had. My sanity back.
28. What did you want and not get?
A new dance costume.
29. What was your favorite film of this year?
Good question. I liked the new Harry Potter a lot.
30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I was 24. I went to the Fetish Flea. Wasn't much fun until the end.
31.What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
More time with my love. Less pain in that relationship. Continuation of other relationships that made me happy.

Shrinking!
33. What kept you sane?
My closest friends/family.

Viggo Mortensen and Johnny Depp

The war. I take it personally.

My boy. Every minute of every day, even when I was mad at him.

Hard to say. Probably

Hope, hard work, love, and determination are a combination that can work miracles.
