Oh my lord. Early birthday presents rock!

I got a mysterious gift card in the mail (must have come Friday) from a place called Salon Capri. I'd never been there. I was puzzled. Turns out it was a gift from pierceheart. Apparently he has hooked me up for a manicure, pedicure, facial, and Brazilian bikini waxing! W00t! I think that is going to be saved for a while, so that I can get all pretty for when my boy comes home...

Ah, I see. Well, I know I am going to want to do all that stuff before I see you. And I think that since it's a present from you, YOU should be able to see and enjoy the results. I will manage to prettify myself enough for my birthday fun at home. :)

Well, I have to be in Boston from now until 5:30 Friday night. But I would welcome a visit between now and then, if you want to hit Sunset or something. I have NO plans for New Year's Eve after I get out of work. I'm also basically free this weekend. How 'bout you?

I'm actually going to be up that way for work on Wednesday and possibly another day this week or next. So you're actually going to be in town for New Years? Caren and company are having a party at her house as is my brother (they live very close to eachother). Caren's been asking about you and would love to have you along (as would I). If you'd care to party-hop with me, I can think of nothing I'd like more!

Hmm. Ok. How's this:

Let me know if you want to go out somewhere in Boston, and I will be happy to accompany you. As for NYE, I can certainly head down to RI. I can get a train to South Attleboro after work. Would you be able to pick me up at the station around 7:30-8pm? It would be cool to see Caren again, and anyone else I know who'd be there. :)

A pick-up won't be a problem at all, but if you let me see how things go on Wednesday, I might actually be up that way again on Friday and you could simply ride back with me. I'll keep you posted.

Salon Capri is very nice, though pricey!! They do hair and makeup for a lot of celebrities when they come through town.

I used to go there all the time, but they got too expensive, so I switched to Keldara's in Dedham. They're AWESOME and not quite as steeply priced.

Enjoy the gift certificate! I'd be more than happy to go back to Capri if I could afford it!!
