My company ordered a printer from PC Connection. We needed it up and running by the end of the calendar year. Well, turns out we ordered the wrong print server to go with it. Sent it back, got a new one. Hooked up the printer. My boss found out it couldn't do something he needed it to do--this wasn't part of the info we got on the damn thing prior to buying it. We ordered a new printer Wednesday, and needed it shipped overnight to arrive Thursday. Well, someone at PC Connection fucked up and had UPS ship it ground delivery instead. SHITE! So they sent us another one last night to arrive today no later than 10:30. One of the techs here checked the tracking site to see if it was on its way this morning. According to that, even though our building was open and we were here, the UPS guy decided that we were closed for the holiday (didn't even check), and left. FUCK! So I spent all morning talking to people from PC Connection and UPS, and my boss (ok, understandably) was in a FOUL mood. He snapped at me, made me feel like an idiot, etc. But we managed to get someone to deliver the damn thing to us by 11:20am. The tech and I set it up in record time, and the boss tested it. He pronounced "success" at 12:53pm. That is the exact time at which my body stopped shaking and I regained my ability to breathe normally. Of course, I hadn't gone to the bathroom since coming in, because I couldn't miss phone calls that were coming in to us about the printer, and I had to set the thing up. When he gave the ok on the printer, I was finally able to dash off to the ladies' room in serious pain. But now...now it's over. The boss has gone home for the night. Thank the gods.

Now I am eager for the end of the day. I am going partying in RI tonight with Teh
