Wow, third time's the charm!

I was really happy to see that so many people are willing to go out Friday night. That's so cool of you guys. :)

Now I just need to think of a good place to go. I would ordinarily say Sunset, but I'm going there Saturday night with dahveed76. I was thinking Mexican might be nice. Casa Romero is probably too small, Border Cafe probably too crowded. The idea of Rudy's crossed my mind. I know a bunch of you are Rudy's regulars. Do they take reservations for bigger groups?

Also, are there any other good suggestions for a place that's not over-expensive but is still a nice place to eat? Doesn't have to be Mexican, but Chinese is dead out, as are brewpubs or other beer-centric places, since I will be indulging in that stuff the following evening at Beer Mecca. :)

Zuma's in Fanueil hall. Good cheap food and the drink prices aren't scandelous either.

Rudy's will take reservations normally but getting a big party in on a Friday night might be less practical, they're pretty busy generally then. Give them a call and see what they say ?
