Wow, an ephedra pill in the morning is so much better than coffee! Of course, I don't plan on taking it every day. I like coffee too much. :)
I'm in a generally perky mood anyway. Had a *lovely* night last night...
Oh, I never got to tell my Jehovah's Witness story at the meeting last night: I once was at my parents' on a Saturday morning, and my sister's friend was supposed to be stopping by. I've known her for years, so when I heard a knock at the door, I didn't hesitate before answering it in a rather skimpy nightie. I opened the door and there were two young guys in suits with Bibles under their arms. I stared at them, they stared at me, and I said, "Oh shit!"
and slammed the door. :)

Weirdness

Hmm. Date tomorrow, apparently, after the stuff about time and place gets set up. This is weird. I don't do this. I guess it's pretty much the way I have to do things these days though. I should get a copy of Ethical Slut too, so I can train myself to be one instead of being what comes naturally to me: a serial monogamist. It seems odd for me to try to change the way I think and feel about fundamental things in order to fit the life I have now, rather than the other way around. But then, it may well be easier.
I'm thinking that Indian place in Davis sounds pretty good. At least if I go there, the food will be nummy. Mmm...masala dosa.

Haven't listened to old Shaney Mac in a while. If I weren't too lazy to lug out my CD's he'd probably go great with the scotch I'm drinking. Better than the margarita I tried to choke down last night...bleah. Salty marmelade.
