FIRST BEST FRIEND: Jessica Tabak. Nice kid. We grew apart when I moved away, especially because I seem to remember our mothers didn't like one another, or something. Wonder what's happened to her.

 

FIRST REAL MEMORY OF SOMETHING: I think I can count this: being at my great-aunt Jemma's place in New York. I was less than a year old, but it was familiar to me when I saw it again at the age of 10.

FIRST FUNERAL: Never been to one. I've been to my grandmother's memorial service.
