Ahhh. I love weekends. :)
I went out last night with my friend Jason. We watched Hidalgo. The movie is lots of fun--a good, classic adventure story. Don't go expecting something deep, subtle, and complex, but do expect to be entertained. And Viggo...mmm. That man really has a very nice ass and great legs. I was drooling. :)
We went out to John Harvard's after. Great beer. I haven't been at a brewpub in a while. I was quite happy that they had their Celtic Red Ale on tap. Killian's, eat your bloody heart out.
My mom called me this morning, and said that she and my father would come up to visit me tomorrow. They will take me out so I can get a bookcase, and bring it back to my place in their car. Yay! Mum will also bring a plastic chest of drawers, which I can use to stick a bunch of my knitting, candlemaking, and other crafty stuff in. I can see my room getting prettier as we speak! Of course, them visiting tomorrow means that today will be cleaning day. I will do the kitchen and bathroom, and vacuum everything. Basically, today will be cleaning and tomorrow, once I have more storage space, will be organizing.
Tonight I'm going out for Ethiopian with my friend Mike. It's about time that I try it. I lived in DC for several years, and that place is chock-full of Ethiopian restaurants, but I never went to one. I wish there were some Afghan places around here. I miss those.
Ok, time to put on some music and start cleaning. I have David Bowie's "Changes" in my head, so I may start with that. But cleaning often makes me want to listen to the chicks, as does springtime weather. So I will likely listen to Diamanda Galas, Bjork, or PJ Harvey as well. Ta-ta, folks.
(PS- Does anyone know how to make accented characters on LJ? Word conventions don't seem to work.)
