Jun. 12th, 2006 10:24 amWell. That was an interesting weekend.
Friday night was fairly quiet. Saturday, I went to a party which was definitely fun, and where there were lots of nifty people. One big ol' surprise, yes, and a realization that something had been miscommunicated (or NOT communicated directly at all), but that got settled eventually. There was much silliness involving potatoes at the party. And a strange tendency for Trivial Pursuit questions to involve prostates. I was really sleepy by the end of it all, and actually zonked out for a moment before the boy woke me up to bring me home. After that, I stayed up for several hours more, but did get plenty of sleep in the end. I was still exhausted yesterday, though. Like, totally brain-dead tired. But we went out for brunch, and ended up spending most of the day walking around Chelsea, Eastie, and the Bunker Hill area. We even got to see some of the Bunker Hill Day parade. Sweet! I made nummy veggie pizza at home, and we passed out fairly early.

pierceheart is taking the LSAT. I totally have faith in his ability to do well on it. Probably more than he has. :) But still, it couldn't hurt for everyone to send some supportive thoughts his way!
After work today, I'm going to talk to a recruiter about a possible HR Assistant position. Let's hope this recruiter does some good work for me! I'm wearing a suit in this warm weather and everything. Yuck. One day when I have more cash, I will get me some skirt suit separates. And a better top to wear under it. Hey, if I get this job, it won't be long before I CAN afford another suit. :)
