Sep. 10th, 2006 01:17 pmWow, it's a gorgeous day outside: cool, mostly cloudy, but some sun peeking around the edges of the clouds.
This morning, I went to three yard sales. I saw one advertised on the![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
davis_square community, but found another on the way there and one more on the way back! I found nothing at the first sale, but at the second, I got a gorgeous silver and rainbow moonstone bracelet for a BUCK. At the third, I found a lovely set of table linens (tablecloth and 8 napkins) for $1.50. They have a pretty autumn leaf pattern. Perfect for this time of year!
Alas, there ended my Good Cheap Stuff karma. I went to Goodwill to (finally) drop off some of the stuff my roommate wanted to donate, and which has been sitting in the dining room for MONTHS. I tried on a few things, but nothing looked good. Oh well. I just got back, and now I'm going to have a brief snack and then head to Tags to replace the silicone spatula I broke yesterday (sob).
Sometime this week, I believe I will make some sort of beef stew.
