First: Take a look at the logged-in version of LJ's homepage for a "Whoa, we fucked up" announcement.

Second: I am home again today. When I almost felt like crying this morning because lack of sleep due to sickness and other things, in addition to the remaining sickness, was making the day seem like an impossible task, I said, "Fuck it" and decided to give myself another day of rest. I went back to bed and slept until 8:15, much to my relief. I'm still coughing, but it's not as bad as the ceaseless coughing that kept me awake until about midnight or later last night. I only managed to fall asleep because I took NyQuil on top of my Robitussin DM. Last time I was sick, my coworkers all scolded me for coming back before I was fully recuperated, so I don't feel too bad.

I'm currently at pierceheart's, where I spent the night. Pretty soon I will get dressed, maybe grab a piece of toast, and go catch the bus home.

In other news, just lost a bid on a refurbished Palm Tungsten E2. Bugger. It happened with less than 10 seconds left, so I figure the person had one of those things that does it automatically.
