2. Dance is cancelled tonight, so I am doin' laundry with the boy.
3. Do not want gum surgery. Meh. DO NOT WANT.
4. At least gum surgery gives me a day off on Friday, though I still need to be at MIT at 9am (the appointment is at MIT Medical, at that time). I will get drugs, pick up squishy and slurpy food on the way home, and go watch TV, read, and knit all day.
5. It was SO HARD getting up this morning. I could barely crawl out of bed. I had a song from my dream stuck in my head for a little while, then it faded. Now I don't remember it.
6. I am craving noodle soup for lunch, but I don't know where I'd get it around here. Also, I have a lunch.

So, in spite of saying only last night that I didn't want to buy a backpack without being able to see it in real life, hold it, check it out, etc., I just bought one on eBay. I did some research on Jansport.com, and found one that looked nice. I plugged it in to eBay's search box and came up with it in a colour I love, but which wasn't currently there on Jansport's site. Sweet!
So now I'm getting this, but in a bright red. It was less than $30 with shipping included. It seems to retail for $40-$50 elsewhere online. It's about time I did this: I've really worn the backpack![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
pierceheart bought while on leave in '04 to shreds. I should be able to fit everything I need into here, it will look nice and polished, it won't open the buttons on my shirts like my messenger bag strap does, and it looks pretty convenient for organizing the way I like. Yay.
