pierceheart and I met with the buyer broker. She seemed nice, and knowledgeable. I think the biggest benefit of having a broker, as I told zzbottom last night, will be that it will get us off our asses and out looking at a larger number of places. Also, she knows the process and can make referrals for people like real estate lawyers and home inspectors. pierceheart has requested contact from someone at USAA about pre-approval for a mortgage. That will be a big help, too.
After that, we grabbed a quick bite at Spike's (yummy veggie Junkyard Dog!) and thenzzbottom picked me up for a movie. We'd decided to see Iron Man, and he pointed out that the Revere theater would be less crowded and easier to get to by car than the Boston Common theater. So, off we went. Since it was a Showcase Cinema, I could use my two free movie passes that I got at work ages ago! Yay! It's so rare that I go to a Showcase, so this was convenient. We had ice cream and watched the movie. It was really pretty good, even for someone who's not a huge superhero fan. The main character was great: a bit of an ass, but not enough to make you hate him, and a bit superhero-y, but not enough to make you roll your eyes. Downey played him really well.
Tonight, salsa dancing! I hope I have the energy to make it through a decent amount of the dancing after the lesson. I think the "allergies" of yesterday might actually be a cold, and I keep going to bed late. Meh.
