(no subject)

Oops. I left my good shoes at home today. Second day in a row. Yesterday, I was wearing long pants, so it wasn't quite so glaringly tacky having sneakers on all day. Today, I have on a black knee-length skirt. With black socks and white sneakers. GAH. Ick. I'm just glad there are no mirrors around where I could see this and cringe. Hey, I've been pretty damn tired both yesterday and today. Sunday night I slept badly, and last night, I didn't get to bed until after 12:30. No wonder I'm having issues.

pierceheart and I are going to see a real estate broker today. This is the one who someone on b0st0n recommended to me. That recommender used to be a buyer broker herself, and said that Coldwell Banker, which had been her company's rival, was probably the best around, and that this woman really knows her stuff. Sounds good!

After that, I'm getting together with zzbottom, probably for a movie. Don't know what, though. I have to check the listings. Yay, movies! I haven't been to one in a while. Now, Prince Caspian is out, and soon, the new Indiana Jones flick will also be out. But there may be other stuff too. Those two tend to overshadow other movies, though. :)

Anyway, in other news: the full moon reflecting off the ocean at night is one of the most beautiful sights there is. Check it out sometime.

A few people have been mentioning tattoos. I've been pondering what I'd eventually like to get for my next tattoo. I'd been thinking about a mehndi-style design, and am still considering that. Something else that's come to mind recently, however, is a stylized pomegranate tree. I'd love it if I could find a good depiction of a pomegranate tree from some old Armenian art, but Google image search isn't being very helpful. I found a couple modern depictions and one old depiction that's not very good.

Did something wait to bloom until exactly TODAY?

Because so far, I have had almost zero allergy symptoms this season. The occasional sneeze is about it. Today, my nose tickles, I'm sneezing a lot, I'm sniffling, and I have a sinus headache. GAH. I just went and got some Claritin, though, so hopefully that will kick in soon.

WTF, trees? Did you just figure out some secret passageway into my nose for your damn tree-bukake?
