OK, so it was only about 2/3 mile. But still, that's the most I've done at above a fast walk since I was in high school, I think. I just put on my sports bra, leggings, and sneakers, did a bit of stretching, and started. Basically, I went down to the Brooks parking lot via the bike path, then turned around and came back. Stretched a bit more. It was both harder than I'd thought and easier. I guess I thought that it would either not be as hard as I'd expected, or it would be hard enough that I'd have to stop and walk. Neither. Ok. That was kinda cool. Now I need to go to the grocery store, but since I'm bringing my bag, I'm not running there. :)
