Not-so-single white female (ok, more sort of olive-y, but definitely female) seeks single-or-not man of any color, maybe age 28-45 or so for wicked good times. Yeah, and bad ones, because those happen too, and I'd rather not have them be deal-breakers.

Me: extroverted, enthusiastic, spiritual, hedonistic, in need of a little more love in my life, and with love to give. Far from the mainstream but well adjusted. Strong and capable of standing on my own two feet, but appreciative of a helping hand when things are rough. Smart. Thoughtful. Occasionally witty. Fairly easy on the eyes, depending on your tastes.

You: extroverted, sane, stable, knowing what you want out of life, and full of enjoyment of life, but with room for me in it. Good at communication. Comfortable in yourself. Attractive to me physically and emotionally, in any of the many ways that's possible. Smart. Unconventional. Imaginative.

Goals: once-a-week-or-so dates, including sleepovers, possibly the occasional entire weekend here and there. Yummy dinners at home and in restaurants. Silly jokes that no one else gets because they weren't there. Long, in-depth conversations about serious stuff. Really hot sex and BDSM play. Occasional together-ness at special events, perhaps even at holidays. Snuggling in movie theaters. Hikes in the woods. Love. Romance. Exploration. Support. Growth. An actual good non-living-together, non-marriage relationship that has real meaning and value for both of us, enough that you will work with me to keep it going, and going WELL.

Got all that, Universe? Great. Now, get it out there!

Oh man, I can SMELL spring coming.

Take that, Punxsutawney Phil.

Wednesday is the day I usually try to encourage other folks in the office to knit together for our lunch break, but I just sent an e-mail to the Stitch 'n' Bitch group saying that it's too pretty outside for me to spend my break indoors. I'm taking a walk today. I will put Einsturzende Neubauten on my iPod (and they are the PERFECT springtime music). I just wish I hadn't lost my copy of Tabula Rasa. "Zebulon" is the perfect springtime song. I will delight in the sunshine and the feeling of breeze in my non-hat-covered hair!

I think I'll wait until after lunch for my walk. I have a tasty bento waiting for me: adobo chicken, Japanese sweet potato, and asparagus, carrots, and tomatoes with garlic-chili sauce. Plus, an orange: condensed sunshine! Mmm.
