Man, I miss that place. My dad just sent me a link to a page about Rhode Island memories, and there was a section on Rocky Point. Now I want chowder and clam cakes!

Has anyone ever read The Day I Swapped My Dad For Two Goldfish?

Anyone ever read it to a kid? How old, and did they like it?

I'm thinking of getting that as my year-end gift for the kid I mentor. Stuff he's liked a lot so far:

The Magic Treehouse series
The Avatar series (based on the kids' TV show on Nickelodeon)
The Real Story of the Three Little Pigs
The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales

I hope he'd like the Gaiman book, but I'm dithering over it.
