May. 8th, 2009 02:36 pmHas anyone ever read The Day I Swapped My Dad For Two Goldfish?
Anyone ever read it to a kid? How old, and did they like it?
I'm thinking of getting that as my year-end gift for the kid I mentor. Stuff he's liked a lot so far:
The Magic Treehouse series
The Avatar series (based on the kids' TV show on Nickelodeon)
The Real Story of the Three Little Pigs
The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales
I hope he'd like the Gaiman book, but I'm dithering over it.

We all love that one, and Michael read it to Trent's second grade class. It is, of course, kind of creepy, but the little girl heroine rocks. So does her pig puppet.
We are also a household of rabid Avatar fans. Trent really likes avataer, but Michael and I love Avatar as much as some people love Star Trek.
