Ten things I've done that no one on my friends list has (er, I think.)

1. Belly danced to Tom Waits' "Pasties and a G-String" in front of other people.

2. Read Les Fleurs du Mal in French. (I could be wrong about being unique in that.)

3. Set up an archaeological dig "from scratch"--found and mapped the site, did research, prepped for excavation.

4. Snuggled naked on a raft in the middle of Sideling Creek. (wait, a few of you may have done that too, but I don't know for sure.)

5. Made Oobleck. If you don't know, you may ask.

6. Made homemade play-doh.

7. Sung "Chocolate Jesus" during a Bardic circle.

8. Spun the tassles of my pasties around at ManRay, using only a gentle bouncing motion. (Well, I've never seen any of you do it!)

9. Had my neck bitten by a guy from Transylvania. :)

10. Drunk homemade tzuica.

Do you mean the cornstarch-based recipe or the borax and elmers glue recipe?

Oooh, you know Oobleck! I used the cornstarch one...my mom figured it would be less of a bad thing if the stupid day care kids she had then happened to lick their hands after playing with it.

I made homemade play-dough once. Granted, I was in kindergarten and my "help" was debatable, but I was involved. Mmmm...smells good...

I've never spun tassels on pasties, but then...I've never actually applied them to try, either. I imagine either being better endowed or as freakishly able to isolate as my teacher Sardis would help immensely. (She does breast isolations--she couldn't seem to break it down to help us get it, but it was impressive)

Damn, I keep seeing this meme, but I doubt I could think of things that at least one my friends isn't likely to have done...

Hmm, that one is proving to be more common than I thought. :)

Obviously I have done this, dear. :P, as any Francophone Goth should...

Damn you! :P

But have you heard Diamanda Galas do her renditions of "Abel et Cain" and "L'Heautotimoroumenos"? Brrrrrrrr! That woman gives me the shivers. I adore her.

"...Et je ferai de ta paupiere,
Pour abreuver mon Sahara,
Jaillir les eaux de la souffrance..."

*dies*

I love Baudelaire.

Sorry sweety. I've led a very busy life.

Done some of #2 Not the whole ting, just some random poems
Done #3 For a course, including overseeing the dig
Done #5 not since I was 8 or so though
Done #6 dozens of times.
Done #10 plenty of times, both my homemade brew and others (though it was usually drank on the way to making it horinca)

My mum used to make me home-made play-doh, and I've read (some of) 'Les infortunes de la vertu' in the original. Does that count? :)
