Why are they following me?

Last night I had a dream about a My Little Pony. I think what happened was I found the same one of my favorites from when I was a kid. Then I was reading a book today that mentioned My Little Ponies in passing. Then just now, I saw one on VH1's I love the 80s. What the fuck?!?! I'm weirded out by this childhood toy synchronicity...

For some reason, all of the toys from our childhood seem to be making a comeback. You should go to a Hot Topic sometime. At least [livejournal.com profile] dolphindream liked Carebears before they were cool(again)...

I've seen the Care Bears stuff in Hot Topic before. Scary. Now if Rainbow Brite comes back, that'll be REALLY fucked up.

Um, don't look now, but she's back. And Strawberry Shortcake. :)

More synchronicity: one of the questions on the quizzes I took today had "My Little Pony" as one of the answers. No lie.

I bought my friend a Rainbow Brite sweatshirt there. I'm still waiting for Jem. {:

yeah. . . what can I say? I'm still a Care Bear, and I always loved My Little Pony and Rainbow Bright. I'm just weird, though. Maybe the comeback is because toy companies have run out of new toy ideas? Or maybe they know they can make money off of 20-somethings' nostalgia . . .
