1. RECITAL! My belly dance recital is on Saturday, May 14th at 1pm. It will take place at the BU Student Union building. Comment if you're interested in going, and I can give you directions.

2. I am so ticked off that between the two of us, neither pierceheart nor I could come up with a way to cut a CD track at a certain point to burn only the first 3 minutes to disk. Bleah. What a pain. This means that I have to do the SAME FUCKING SOLO SONG I did last year, because I don't have any other suitable songs that are of a permissable length. Grrr. I so wanted to do "Black Magic Woman". :(

3. Other than that, I am a happy camper. I have so many reasons to be. :)

May 14th is also Day of Dance, which is a local morris ale hosted by my team. It's an all day thing, and in Salem, too, so I can't really duck out and back.

if you rip the track to a .wav file, you can edit it using GoldWave (http://www.download.com/GoldWave/3000-2170_4-10107438.html?tag=lst-0-1). then you can burn the edited .wav
